Richard Avedon

This time I decided to post some pictures taken by a really inspiring Fashion Photographer,

Richard Avedon. 

• Born in New York in 1983 
• At the age of 17 he started taking personnel identification pictures 
• 1944, he found a job as a photographer in a department store
• Initially, Avedon made his living primarily through work in advertising
• Staff photographer for harper's bazaar and later for vogue
• Avedon became well known for his stylistically innovative fashion work
• Avedon's portraits: photographs confront us with miners, unemployed
  people, drifters, farmers, cowboys, and convicts, often at life-size or over

‘if a day goes by without my doing something related to

photography, it’s as though I’ve neglected something

essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to

wake up,’ he said in 1970.

Kimberley Denise

 Kimberley Denise is a Fashion Marketing Student and stylist who loves fashion traveling, socialize and performing.

Carlos Stainer

This picture was taken by Carlos Stainer a few days ago. I decided to include it in my blog because it has a strong meaning for him. This summer he worked in a Bar in Menorca called Pindapoi. With the money he earned he organized a trip with his friends around the world, thats why in this picture you can  find a passport and a world ball.

Patricia Muñoz

Albert Gascons

In this pictures we can see one of the designs made by Albert Gascons, Fashion design student in "Escuela Guerrero" Barcelona, Spain. This dress was inspired in the XVI century. This fabulous design was created in less than one hour, which was possible thanks to the creation of garments directly on top of the mannequin. With this  technique you can give more volume to garments and try different designs on one same piece of fabric.

Patricia Lorente

In this picture you can see two of the designs created by Patricia Lorente, a Fashion Marketing student who studied Fashion design in London. She studied in ELU, East London University, which is not as well known as Saint Martins or London College of Fashion, but its a great university which gives you a lot of opportunities.

Ian Poquet

My first post is a picture taken by Ian Poquet. He is a catalan photographer, from Girona, that moved to the US, Fort Lauderdale, two years ago. He had to leave his photography studies, but he continued taking pictures and he become a professional photographer thanks to experience and learnings.  He uses pictures to transmit his experience and portraits.  I admire him, and through his pictures you can see he is talented.
